As part of our commitment to engaging with the local community, we were delighted to contribute to the wellbeing of these dedicated athletes, helping them stay hydrated during their training sessions and competitions.

#RaceToTheLine is designed to engage Year 7 students in a thrilling educational experience, balancing the rigors of STEM with crucial life skills. Students not only learn fundamental scientific principles but also experience substantial personal and emotional growth. And it’s fun! 🎉
The school brought classroom lessons to life and provided STEM career inspiration to students through the delivery of engaging STEM projects. The goal is to embed STEM education throughout a student’s school career.
The “Race To The Line Bio” Model Rocket Car STEM Challenge is supported at a national level by RS Group PLC, who have sponsored 16 secondary schools, one for each RS Components branch. This popular and inclusive cross-curricular STEM activity involves small teams of students working together to design, build, and race a model rocket car. It applies core STEM classroom learning, such as Newton’s Laws of Motion, along with CAD/CAM, 3-D printing or laser cutting to manufacture wheels, computer coding for creating a timing system, and tool skills in the build process. The project encourages social learning between students and develops essential life skills.
