We are a Management Company / Residents Association responsible for the upkeep of a 39-apartment block on the south coast.  As part of an analysis of the risks and potential costs we face in maintaining our passenger lift, we needed some independent technical advice.  We chose to talk to VM Elevators because their website seemed to cover our areas of interest and they have an office on the south coast, although we have never dealt with them.  I doubt if we could have chosen better.  From the outset Simon understood that his advice was unlikely to lead to further business with us in the short term, yet he was fastidious and unstinting in researching our situation and offering sound advice.  We learned huge amounts from him, from which we were able to test our own knowledge and make a sound plan.
