We are a Management Company / Residents Association responsible for the upkeep of a 39-apartment block on the south coast. As part of an analysis of the risks and potential costs we face in maintaining our passenger lift, we needed some independent technical advice. We chose to talk to VM Elevators because their website seemed to cover our areas of interest and they have an office on the south coast, although we have never dealt with them. I doubt if we could have chosen better. From the outset Simon understood that his advice was unlikely to lead to further business with us in the short term, yet he was fastidious and unstinting in researching our situation and offering sound advice. We learned huge amounts from him, from which we were able to test our own knowledge and make a sound plan. I would have huge confidence in approaching VM Elevators for support in the future.

We are a security systems installer/maintainer and met VM Elevators on site today at a residential block as part of a joint works to resolve a lift fault that has been ongoing for years and no other lift company has been able to resolve and if anything, has made worse!We met John & Mark on site today and they were head and shoulders above the other companies we have previously met on site. Great technical knowledge and a real appetite to actually get the faults repaired.Finally found a company that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others which is very rare!

I’ve been liaising with VM for a while now as my residential building explores its options around our lifts. VM - the whole team and Simon in particular - has always been incredibly responsive and patient as these things can take a while and I ask a lot of questions! VM are incredibly knowledgeable and - importantly - trustworthy. Compared to other lift specialists I’ve dealt with (and indeed many other trades) VM has always been upfront and honest about what’s needed for our lifts but also balanced that with providing cost effective solutions now and the long term. They will not rip you off like others can tend to do, instead they work alongside you and are on your side. To have someone who is honest and who I can trust to do the right thing by us to ensure our lifts are properly maintained and repaired as needed, and abide by the regulations, whilst being fair and open and transparent on cost is refreshing. VM also understands the dynamics and processes of residential buildings which also makes a huge difference. VM has earned my loyalty.
