Hi everyone! Itβs a Tayla Takeover Tuesday π on the VM socials today, and on this International Menβs day Iβm here to tell you about my incredible friend, Danny! Heβs genuinely the funniest, friendliest person you could meet, heβs always got a big smile on his face and his passion for football (especially Arsenal π) – is next level!
Thereβs nothing I love more than sitting down with him to chat about everything Arsenal. Our car rides to football games are some of my favourite moments together. Whether itβs a 2-hour drive or a 6-hour one, I guarantee weβre laughing our heads off – the whole way.
Iβm so proud of him for sharing his story in his new book Kicking Goals, where he opens-up about living with a rare genetic disorder, adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Born with ALD alongside his brother Billy, Dannyβs journey is one of resilience and hope. In his memoir, he shares the realities of facing ALD and his powerful advocacy for greater understanding of rare diseases. His strength and outlook are truly inspirational, and his story is a reminder of resilience and to live life to the fullest.
