It incorporates the requirements of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement), PAS 91, and the Common Assessment Standard, providing a comprehensive review of an organisation’s competence, policies, procedures, and compliance arrangements. Developed by Build UK, the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA), and other leading industry bodies, the Common Assessment Standard helps standardise the pre-qualification process, improve supply chain efficiency, and reduce risk throughout construction and engineering projects.
