With a career spanning over five decades in the lift industry, including 20 transformative years at Otis, George has long been a driving force behind innovation and quality in lift modernisation across the UK. From his early days as a Modernisation Design Draughtsman to becoming Drawing Office Supervisor, George led bespoke design solutions, tackled complex site challenges, and helped deliver cost-effective upgrades that stood the test of time.

Today, as Operations Manager at VM Elevators Ltd, George continues to raise the bar. Beyond his technical brilliance, he’s a mentor, a guide, and a role model to our engineering team, shaping the next generation with the same precision and patience that has defined his career.

His dedication, humility, and hands-on approach make this recognition more than deserved. Congratulations, George— you deserve this recognition … you’re an inspiration to us all.
