At VM Elevators, we’re proud to showcase our latest lift installation project, delivered in the heart of Bermondsey. Located in Berrmondsey, this newly built residential development required a robust vertical transport solution that met both everyday convenience and essential safety regulations.
Our expert team supplied and installed four passenger lifts across the site. Two of these lifts were designed and certified for firefighting use, ensuring compliance with modern fire safety standards and enhancing emergency access for the fire brigade. These firefighting lifts are equipped with advanced features, including protected shafts, backup power supply, and manual override functionality.
Working closely with the main contractor from the early stages of construction, VM Elevators ensured a seamless integration of the lift systems into the building’s core structure. Our turnkey approach allowed for the smooth coordination of lift shaft requirements, builder’s work, and final commissioning.
