This modernisation was carried for a large recognized, national grocery retailer on behalf of Dance & Dean to enhance the performance of the heavily used 4500kg goods passenger lift serving 2 floors, located at the rear of the store. The modernisation consisted of major overhaul of the hydraulic system via replacement seals, valves and replenishing of hydraulic oil. The control system was replaced by a UK manufactured microprocessor unit and the landing door interlocks replaced, all necessary Health and Safety components were either replaced or added to comply with the latest standards, the complete installation was rewired and the modernisation was successfully completed in 9 days.
