June 4, 2021This job consisted of the installation of 3 off new 630kg or 8 persons electric traction MRL package lifts for a new build apartment block with a contract speed of 1.00 m/s, 2 of the lifts served 5 floors and the third 6 floors, all open front only.
This installation required coordination with the Main Contractor to ensure deliveries and installation periods coincided with the site programme.
During the pre-installation survey of the lift shafts, it was noted that 2 of the shafts were not constructed in line with the layout drawings provided resulting in some remedial builders work to be undertaken and some additional lift components were required to compensate for anomalies.
The complete installation of all 3 lifts including test and commissioning allowing for additional works was completed in 24 weeks. The client was very pleased with the end product.
